9 Step Money Roadmap
And I definitely didn't start out as a personal finance expert.
Like a lot of people, I spent much of my twenties doing what seemed completely normal.
I earned money.
I spent money.
Then I waited for the next payday.
I wasn't thinking seriously about investing, financial independence or building long-term wealth.
Eventually I realised something:
Earning money wasn't enough. I needed to learn what to do with it.
That sent me down the personal finance rabbit hole.
I started learning about budgeting, emergency funds, mortgages, pensions, investing and the enormous impact seemingly small financial decisions can have when they're repeated for years.
I also became interested in increasing income.
I've experimented with different side hustles and online businesses — some worked better than others — and learned plenty of lessons along the way.
But one thing became increasingly obvious.
You don't need to understand every investment.
You don't need to obsess over every penny.
And you don't need to become a financial expert.
For most people, getting the fundamentals right can make an enormous difference.
That's why I created AdamRance.com.
My goal is simple:
Make personal finance easier to understand and help ordinary people make smarter decisions with their money.
I talk about:
Budgeting.
Debt.
Emergency funds.
Pensions.
Investing.
Mortgages.
Increasing your income.
Financial independence.
And the financial mistakes that can quietly cost us thousands over a lifetime.
I don't pretend there's a secret shortcut to becoming wealthy.
There isn't.
But there are principles that can put you in a dramatically stronger financial position over time.
The more I learned about personal finance, the more I wished someone had simply shown me:
Do this first. Then this. Then this.
That's what eventually became The Financial Reset.
It's the book I wish I'd had when I first decided to get serious about money.
Not hundreds of pages of financial theory.
A practical guide to understanding your money and deciding what to do next.
If you're just getting started, you don't need to buy anything.
Start with my free 9-Step Money Roadmap.
It'll show you the framework.
And if you're ready to go deeper:
